Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I need to
make an appointment?
As we often get booked
out on
weekends, we recommend making an appointment for Saturdays and Sundays.
This allows us to provide you with full, personalised service to assist
you in finding the gown of your dreams. All our appointments are
obligation-free.
How
long does it take to order my wedding gown?
As with all aspects of your wedding day, it is best to start early. Most
gowns require 4 months
lead time for delivery in store. We would recommend allowing a further
2-4 weeks for final fittings prior to your wedding date.
What happens
after I order my dress?
As soon as the dress arrives in-store, we
notify you
immediately and arrange an appointment for you to come in and try on
your new gown. We normally don't arrange any further fittings until 3-4
weeks before your wedding date, so that we reduce the number of
fittings required in the lead up to your big day. For your final
fitting, you should bring along your chosen shoes and underwear that
you will be wearing on your wedding day.
What happens
if my weight changes before my wedding day?
Many brides lose weight prior to their wedding day. Our staff are able
to advise the best way to accommodate this. You can be confident when
leaving our store that your gown will be the perfect fit.
Do I need to
bring anything when I am trying on wedding gowns?
We welcome you to bring your family and
friends to
offer their opinion when trying on gowns. It is not essential to bring
the right shoes or underwear garments, however, these may assist you to
get the right look and feel of the gown.
I'm
getting married in 4 weeks. Can I still get a wedding dress?
Yes. We carry a large
range of gowns
in all sizes and colours in stock. We are also able to order selected
gowns with short lead times.
Do
you offer a lay-by service? What methods of payment do you accept?
We understand that your
wedding gown
is a big financial commitment, so we offer a flexible lay-by service,
with payments tailored to suit your individual needs.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, cheque by management approval and
of course cash!
Are
your gowns ordered specially for me, or do they come in a standard
size? Is there an extra charge for alterations?
Gowns are ordered as close
to your
personal measurements as possible, however, suppliers do work to
standard sizing. We offer a complete alterations service for all our
gowns, to ensure the perfect fit for your special day. Our staff are
highly professional with many years experience in the Bridal Industry.
Alterations are subject to an additional fee at competitive rates.
Individual quotes are provided at your initial consultation, once the
gown arrives in-store.
